In this panel, three authors who could be your neighbors present their new YA novels! In The Roof Over Our Heads, former professional actor and improviser Nicole Kronzer tells a story about a theater-loving family who puts on an immersive, interactive play to save their historical Minnesota home. Ari Tison’s debut novel Saints of the Household is a haunting drama about an act of violence in a small Minnesota town, told in alternating points of view using vignettes and poems. And in Just Do This One Thing for Me, Minnesota Book Award winner Laura Zimmermann’s second novel, a rule-following daughter tries to hold her family together after her scammer mother disappears. Come hear these authors describe the origins of these tales, the work it took to bring them to the page, and the importance of setting. Ages 14+
The Loft’s Wordplay is Minnesota's summertime celebration of readers, writers, and great books. Stay tuned for specifics about my panel and signing time. More information to come!

Where You See Yourself combines an unforgettable coming-of-age tale, a swoon-worthy romance, and much-needed disability representation in this story about a girl who's determined to follow her dreams. Join Claire and Nicole as they chat about Where You See Yourself and all things writerly. Afterward, enjoy treats and have your books signed by the author!

This December 15 at 7 PM, the Chippewa Valley Writers Guild is continuing its annual tradition of joining together musicians and writers to charm and delight our region’s citizens with their most wintery songs and stories. This year’s Sound and Stories “Joy To The Word” event will feature storytellers Ken Szymanski, Allyson Loomis, Nicole Kronzer and Justin Patchin, alongside holiday tunes courtesy of The UKE Klub, with special musical guest Derick Black
While there was a certain allure of welcoming Unscripted in mascara and pajama pants in April of 2020, I've been longing for that classic author experience of a stack of books and a sharpie and a real person on the other side of the table.
And now it's happening -- in paperback!
I'll be at the Barnes and Noble in Maple Grove, Minnesota from 6-7:30 pm on the day the paperback comes out: Tuesday, December 13th. If you're in the Twin Cities metro, I would love love LOVE to see you!
